hello, been advised to do a regular clean out with Ccleaner to keep my computer running quicker and more smoothly , but what is internet cache? will this scrub out my bookmarks?

When I go on internet properties it says connection : not encrypted. I don’t know if it’s meant to be like that or if thats why y internet pages won’t show up?

I’m going mad not having Internet at home. I’ve been to the Carphone Warehouse and all they seem to have are toggles. It seems that Portugal don’t do Internet dishes. Is there anyone who can give me some good advice?

Tonight, when I switched on my older computer, I noticed that my internet security software did not show up on the task bar so I opened it up elsewhere and discovered that it had been switched off. Nobody else uses this machine. I enabled it to come on but now it will not display any pages that are secured. What could be wrong. I suspect some virus but nothing is showing up in scans. Recently I installed Spybot and strange things have been happening since then.
My internet security is Norton Internet Security and I understood that it is ok to use it along side sypware protection like spybot but maybe I am wrong.

I’ve got Internet connection with Virgin, but it’s not wireless. So now I would like to switch to another internet provider which preferably can give me also a wireless modem for free. (and which is fairly cheap – I’m paying about 15 £ a month at the moment.)

i just updated my computer and now it is asking me what internet browser i want to use, i have been using internet explore so far,
but i was just wondering if anyone knew the pros and cons of a few of the internet browsers out there?
i use the internet mainly for watching videos, and playing games, and occasionally for reading things,
if anyone knows of the best browser for me, please let me know.
